Hit by Fraud

If you did not read our previous post, here is what Karl and I are currently going through right now. Last night we were hit with a huge fraud transaction and $4,000 was taken out of our personal bank account. 💔

That money was meant to pay for our rescue dog building and our mortgage. For the past 2 years, we personally have paid $870 every single month for the dog building because our rescue simply does not receive large donations consistently enough to cover it. We have always done whatever it takes to keep going for the animals.

Our mortgage is $2,225, which means our immediate bills total $3,095. Right now, the MOST urgent priority is the dog building payment because it is due on the 22nd. Thankfully, Sandra has already started and donated $100 toward it. 🥹 That leaves us needing to raise $770 before the 22nd to keep the building paid.

We are going to contact our mortgage company and explain the situation and pray they can work with us on an extension, but this has put a huge dent not only in our personal lives, but in our rescue as well.

Many people may not realize this, but Bee Pawsitive Animal Rescue is run directly from our property. We donated 2 acres of our land to the rescue so animals have a safe place to heal, quarantine, rehabilitate, and grow. If we cannot keep our home afloat, it also puts the rescue itself in jeopardy. That is the heartbreaking reality.

Right now at Bee Pawsitive home base we currently have dogs, a kitten, chickens, turkeys, pigs, goats, raccoons, possums, and even a baby fox kit in our care. Every single one of these lives depends on us daily for food, shelter, medical care, and safety. 🐾

We’ve had a very rough night emotionally and mentally, and asking for help is never easy for us, but right now we truly need our community. ❤️

Thank you for always standing beside our rescue, our animals, and our mission. ❤️
